Strengths:Easy to Hold, IR Learning to any key, Bright Backlight, PVR (Tivo) Device Button
Weaknesses:Not an incredible amount of tactile feel
Review:Most of the elements of this remote are the same as the Radio Shack 15-2133. The major differences are that the One-For-All has 8 device buttons as opposed to 6 including a PVR button. This is a nice touch as PVRs are becoming more popular.

Set up was trouble free. The remote that this replaced was a OFA Home Theater Commander with IR/RF capabilities. As I was already familiar with the OFA brand, programming was a breeze. I have a Hitachi big screen TV that is a couple of years old, a Kenwood reciever, a Sony Tivo, A Panasonic DVD player, and a Sharp VCR. I only had to use the IR learning feature of the remote to change one of the Tivo buttons to a more ergonomic place.

The overall feel of the remote is nice. I tried the Radio Shack model and it just doesn't sit well in the hand. The OFA model has more curves and is better suited for hand held use.

So far I have had the remote for 3 weeks and the only complaint I have is from being spoiled with an IR/RF remote in the past. I quickly had to buy a remote extender as my theater equipment is in a closed cabinet with no direct line of sight.

I highly recomend this remote for the code database, the ease of programming and the value. I picked it up for $70 on-line. It also has a cool factor of 10 because of the screen transitions and fades.

For more depth on this remote read the review on the Radio Shack model.
