Improved PC connectivity...
Millennium Enterprises was showing a new take on their 10-device HL-UR800 LCD touchscreen remote control (which should look familiar if you keep up with the reviews here on Remote Central). Instead of requiring an optional docking station to connect to a PC, the new as-of-yet unnamed model instead includes a special cable that includes both serial and USB connectors with an in-line communications device. Otherwise, the remote control is very similar to the original model, the only other physical difference being a relocated light sensor. Since the unit at the show was non-functional, I cannot report on any other changes. Retail pricing was not announced.

Millennium Enterprises also announced the availability of their 3-color backlit HL-UR371, as shown at CES 2001.
